Software is never done

ai quality software

My high school art teacher always used to say that a painting, or work of art in general, is never "done".

Software's the same. There's "good enough" software, and it's usually "good enough for now". What was good enough yesterday may not be good enough to meet tomorrow's, or next month's, or next year's needs.

In the age of LLM-assisted software development, this of course means a never-ending stream of tokens for token providers (until some other technology comes along to supplant LLMs).

This also means there'll always be work for makers, as long as someone's willing to pay for it.
